Learn the Fine Art of upholstery!
Blue Bench Design hosts weekly, hands-on classes that welcome students of all levels to explore the fundamentals of upholstery. Together we work on your upholstery projectin an open workshop format, where individual instruction is tailored to each student's interest and need. You will learn and practice key upholstery skills and come away with a beautifully reupholstered project.
What to bring to 1st class:
1) Upholstery Project
To get a taste of upholstery before commiting to a long-term project, beginner students are encouraged to bring a smaller piece of furniture, such as a dining chair, ottoman, or upholstered bench. Since your project will travel back and forth to class with you, please be mindful of your project’s size. Before your first class, please send a photo of your project tobluebenchdesign@gmail.comfor feedback.
